As we all know that education is one of the requirements of mankind in order to learn and lead the life in a practical and rational manner. Eventually, teaching is also an important process that composites a vital part of education or we can say, through the medium of which education is imparted to the person. Thus, teaching should be implemented in a way that facilitates growth and right development of the pupils and more importantly that which raises the interest level of the students in studying that eventually makes it a qualitative education for them. Following are the principles of Teaching that should be followed by every teacher during educating the pupils in order to pursue good education to the pupils :

1.Principle of Motivation: Motivation is the process which creates pupil's (students) interest in study/content. The meaning of the principle of motivation from this point of view is to create interest in the pupils for acquiring knowledge. It is a psychological fact that when a teacher motivates the pupil to acquire knowledge, the process of teaching and learning goes on smoothly. In the absence of proper motivation, the pupil takes no interest in memorizing the content. This fails the whole process of teaching. Hence, every teacher should follow the principle of motivation.

2. Principle of Activity : The principle of learning by doing means that the teacher should create activity in each type of lesson. This activity is of two types; Physical and Mental. The physical activity means to produce activity in the body organ of pupils, and the mental activity means to activate the sense organs of the pupils. Psychologically, each pupil is temporarily active. Therefore, activity is in accordance with his nature. The more the activity of the pupil, the more active would be the teaching-learning process. Therefore, for a successful teaching, the teacher should make use of pupil's instinct of construction and senses to the maximum.

It is true that the more interested the pupil is, the more easily and the more will he be able to learn.

Teachers can give projects and other interesting activities for the students to do.

Teachers should also avoid being partial to any students. This hampers the interest of the students and students also begin to hold grudges against those students and teachers.

What other suggestions can you give to enhance the motivation and participation of the students in the classrooms?

Teaching can be done in various ways. But a teacher has to figure out the apt one for it’s student. Some can be taught with a touch of sweet and caring words , while some by throwing challenges at them. Different pupil, different methods have to be adopted. Since this is the era of modernity and gadgets, virtual world has greatly attracted the students today. So a touch of technology into their lessons can make it more convincing and attractive for them to learn. They should be taught in a creative manner, that is, while explaining a concept, examples from the present scenario can be taken into account. Teaching should be in interactive manner rather than being a one-way process. More the participation of pupils, more interesting the class becomes for the teacher and the student as well. Students should be allowed to speak their minds without any fear or hesitations. Imparting knowledge to kids by taking them out on field trips more often will contribute in rational learning of the students and they can feel and understand the application of those concepts in their practical lives.
