He is a prominent leader from Uttar Pradesh, who has served the party since a long time. However, the questions that arise are will he be able to bring back the lost position of the party? With the recent tension created between Modi and Advani, i do not think Rajnath singh has proved his position as a president to be valuable. Two major candidates of BJP were against each other and this was the most embarrassing moment for the party members. In a situation where BJP should prove its stability and competence to take over Congress, it was fighting between itself. Rajnath singh must have discussed the situation with the two before taking the agenda forward.
