Sabarimala is one of the most popular pilgrimage destinations of India and millions of devotees comes here all throughout the year. The place is situated in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala. The place is well known for the temple of Lord Ayyappan. The place has lot of mythological tales attached to it and this makes it a major Hindu pilgrimage destination. Sabarimala is situated on the banks of the holy river Pampa, amidst Sahyadri Mountains in Western Ghats and the temple is snuggled within 18 hills and forest.
