Sitarganj is a city near Nainital and is situated at an altitude of 298 m above sea level. It is in the state of Uttarakhand and is a major industrial city of the state and this is because of the existence of the Integrated Industrial Estate (IIE). The city is renowned for Nanak Matta Gurudwara Temple and a horde of devotees visit this city for this temple.
