Xperia Arc is one of the most appealing mobile that tops the list of stylish and good looking phones. The phone comes with a 4.2 inch scratch-resistant LED backlit display with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution. The phone is slim built and looks very elegant in the hands. The phone is powered by Android’s Gingerbread (v2.3) OS, and runs on a 1GHz Scorpion processor with an Adreno 205 GPU. The phone is also enabled with multitouch zooming which is as smooth as that in iPhone. The media player is quite decent and TrackId works quite well. The phone comes with several pre-installed games out of which Angry Bird is the most favorite. The phone has connectivity from 3G (HSDPA @7.2Mbps), standard EDGE/GPRS, Wi-Fi with DLNA compatibility and tethering to creating a 3G Wi-Fi hotspot. Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP support and USB 2.0 are also available and also has built-in GPS system. It comes with 8MP AF camera, equipped with an ExmoR sensor as well as it comes with an LED flash. It features face and smile detection, Auto Scene Recognition, Touchfocus, geotagging, Scene modes and 720p video recording @30fps. Overall, the phone functions quite well and but the price tag of 28,000 seems to be little high and some more features should have been added to the phone.
