Xperia P was launched by Sony after it split with Ericsson. It is one of the most popular phone after Xperia S. The phone comes with aluminum shell and this enhances the look of the phone making it more sturdy. The phone has microUSB, microHDMI and the microSIM slots. The phone comes with a 4-inch display with a resolution of resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Sony has used their special 'WhiteMagic' technology along with the BRAVIA Mobile Engine to give this display its high brightness levels. The phone runs on Gingerbread and is powered by a NovaThor U8500 SoC and comes with a 1GHz dual-core CPU and an ARM Mali-400 GPU. It has ecellent media player. The Xperia P is a quad-band GSM phone and has connectivity options such as 3G, Wi-Fi, DLNA, NFC, Bluetooth. The phone comes with a 8MP shooter located on the rear and a front facing VGA camera. The phone is priced at Rs. 24,500/- which is quite good as compared to the features offered by the phone. It is overall a good phone.
