Stellar (Mi-425) is a new Smartphone launched by Spice and comes within the rage of Rs. 10,000/-. The phone looks quite stylish as compared to other phones in the same price bracket. The phone is quite sturdy. The Spice Stellar Mi-425 doesn’t run the Android launcher but on Launcher+ although it is an Android phone and lets you install launch app of your choice. The touchscreen is decent but typing is a little difficult. The phone comes with some security features and a few apps are designed for that. NQ Mobile Security app is preloaded in the device, which has an in-built anti-virus, anti-theft feature, a network manager. The phone comes with 512 MB of ROM and a 4-inch screen with resolution of 480x800 pixels. The media o the phone is decent and plays media files in most of the formats. The phone is quite impressive in terms of connectivity. It is equipped with two SIM card slots and internet connectivity works on the master SIM card slot as well as comes with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The phone comes with a 5MP camera located on the rear which allows video recording at 720p and also has a front facing VGA camera. The battery backup of the phone is quite better than the rest of the Android phones available in the market. The phone is priced at Rs. 9,999/- and is quite as good option in this price bracket.
