Stereotyping of Indian women in the contemporary society

Indian women never lose hope, they are constantly making every little effort to keep their pace with the fast growing speed of the contemporary Indian society. Everything in the society is getting advanced but the perceptions of the same towards the women are getting more framed and stereotyped. The expectations of the women are ever increasing, the Indian women are now expected to make more compromises and adjustments and moreover sacrifices. For the rapidly increasing crimes against Indian women, only they are being held responsible for all those heinous acts since they are believed to provoke the menfolks by their dressings and extrovert behavior. The more the Indian women are trying to get adjusted according to the contemporary traditions the more burdened they are becoming, they are supposed to set big examples of strength in their day to day life. They are being stereotyped to become adaptive in a more feminist way who remains silent and submissive in the most crucial situations, who makes every possible adjustment with family at the cost of her career and profession and in her relationships during the upheavals. We speak of equality between men and women but simultaneously we have ‘classified’ the equality and freedom to be administered to the Indian women. do you think the same?
