Rabindranath Tagore started the institution named Santiniketan in 1901. he hated going to school. he found it suffocating and oppressive. the school appeared like a prison to him. he wanted a school where the children will feel happy. he created the classrooms in open sorroundings with trees and open spaces. do you think we also need such educational institutes in india today also ?

well if the school is unable to provide good infrastructure to the children, then i think they should opt for such a strategy where students are taught in open grounds in the shade. but there could be more of distraction and attention cannot be paid to each and every student. i think this method has its own pros and cons.
it would be wonderful if there were such peaceful places to study. these days education is confined to closed rooms where students are packed together and made to study hard. education in the nature would be more lively and friendly and student would be more open to learn things. but there is a disadvantage of students having stray thoughts due to open environment.
