The BPO culture has spread widely among the Indian youth in the last ten years of the country. And it is still growing faster and getting deeply rooted as one of the most popular employment options for the youth. Working in the Call Centers seems to be an easy job profile for the youth because the only basic requirement for working in a BPO is to have a command over the English spoken language. One can initiate the working at the call center just after completing one's higher secondary education if he/she has got a good command over spoken English. Every person gives proper training of a few months and simultaneously can begin the work as well. This whole working system is quite accessible for the youth since they are hard working and adjustable according to the work pressure. There are night shifts, long working hours and tremendous work load on the employees working in the call centers but the youth do it willingly because those providing them a good salary, medical and transport facilities, subsidized meals in return of minimum job qualifications. Around 70% of the youth is presently working in the Call Centers today.

But besides so many advantages of working in call centers the youth also have to face many issues related to this such as, mental stress, lack of sleep, static career opportunities, less family involvement, safety issues, less socialization, lesser recreational activities and so on. do you think that this BPO culture is most advantageous for the youth that can provided them economic as well as social security in life?
