The Taj Conspiracy is a novel is about the Taj Mahal as a conspiracy is afoot to create tensions between two faiths. Mehrunisa Khosa the lead character of the book is a Mughal scholar who trips on a controversy to destroy the Taj Mahal when she discovers the murder of the Taj supervisor inside the tomb, she also notes some changes made in the inscription at the tomb to suggest that the monument was of Hindu origin. The book is a good and interesting read.
