It has been seen that many iPads that have older version, face problems during upgradation. It has also been seen that the functions of the device slows down after being upgraded to a newer version. However, there are two solutions to fix the iPad update error. Firstly, update your iOS 5.0.1 via iTunes or over the air update on your iPad and if this does not solve the issue, then take a backup of your data from the iPad by connecting it to a PC and than launch itunes. After that, select iTunes and take a new backup of all the contents in your iPad. After taking the backup, select the restore option on your iPad and it will become completely blank. After this, restore all your backup content and it will significantly improve the performance of your device.
