Indian coastline is about 7600 kms. long, so obviously there are many places like Goa. Try Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and many "Western Ghats" coasts (one of the 25 Biodiversity hotspots in world)......

Goa is considered as the place of foreigners. Countless tourists around the world visit goa on New years and Christmas as they find this place very beautiful and calm. they stay at Goa for months in search of peace . The life in other countries is very busy and hectic. SO people all around the world travel to Goa to search peace and happiness. The beaches are simply beautiful and in the time of season the face of Goa completely changes and turned in to a queen.

GOA is incomparable from any other place. this place has its own beauty which is matchless and people come here all around the world especially to celebrate their festival like Christmas and New Year eve. You must visit goa no matter how much crowded it is. There are places in india that can give you the feel of GOA but still this place is unbeatable.

Well, there are no places like Goa because it has its ambiance of its own and much of it is due to the crowd in Goa. If you are a peace lover and want to enjoy the emptiness with nature and beaches, there are many along the Indian coast line. Mahabalipuram of tamil nadu, Baga near to Goa, Marari near Alleppey in Kerala are some of the other beach spots where you could enjoy your vacation.
