Tuljapur is a sacred place, famous for ancient temples, situated in the district of Osmanabad, Maharashtra. It is a pilgrimage destination and has a rich historical background. The place was ruled by the Bhosale clan of Maratha rulers. Makar Sankranti, Gudi Padwa, Lalita Panchami, Shriram Sasthi and Navratri are celebrated here with grandeur and this attracts a lot of tourists from all over. The place is famous for the ancient Tulja Bhavani Temple. Apart from this temple there are other places of tourist interest. Some of the place of tourist attraction include The Dhakte Tuljapur, The Gomukh Tirth, Vishnu Tirth, Kallola Tirth, Papanashi Tirth, Sant Garibnath Mutt, The Ghat Shila Temple, Naldurg Fort and the Dharashiv Caves.
