There are thousands of issues that you will come across in the country and one of the most important and must not be ignored issue is the problem of child abuse. It is a notion that children are safe every where and people love children especially girls but the truth is quite ugly! Children, especially girls the time they are born have no guarantee that they are safe. They tend to become the victim of child abuse and have been harassed by the people around them including male and female both. It is nor like that only girls have to bear this but the ratio is almost same among boys. It happens a lot in and around the world.

Child abuse means when a child is harassed by people morally, sexually, physically and mentally. People tend to exploit the children sexually that leaves bad signs for a lifetime on the mind and heart of the children. Children are very sensitive, many children bear it and do not disclose anything about child abuse to their parents and many of them become depressed and stay alone they hide their feelings and will not be able to share their feelings from anyone. This brings the severe problem of depression and feeling of hatred against men in many girls.

Thousands and more children among the age of 3 to 14 years have been the victims of this serious problem. it is sad that most of the children do not tell about this to their parents and bear it till then can! Parents who are working usually don’t have much time to give proper attention to their children and hence remains ignorant about their issue. There must be capital punishment for such people who are involved and harass children sexually.
 
Child abuse is the growing problem of India and it happens not only in india but around the world at same rate. Children are being exploited physically, sexually and mentally. It is the responsibility of the parents to teach the basics of the wrong touch to their children and who is exploiting them in which way should all be teach by the parents to their children. To stop Child abuse parents should take action against these things and teach their children every possible thing before age to avert any unpleasant situation in future of their child.
 
@economist: I do not think that this problem can be solved by just telling children about the wrong touch of other people. There should be several ways to protect such children from becoming the victims of child abuse. Children are small and tender especially girls. There should be proper training given to them to protect them from such hungry animals. What do you think?
 
@sweetangel: Yes you are right! There should be proper training given to the children from the small age about martial arts especially girls to avert such issues. They should be trained in various sports to face the this problem with full confidence. Children are smart enough these days undoubtedly but still remote areas children are still untouched with these things and confront such problem and get exploited. So special lessons should be given to them as well.
 
Child Abuse In India: Majority of Indian Children still face variety of problems like child labor, sexual abuses, malnutrition, even facilities of proper education. Repeated efforts on government's part are constantly failing, around 50 million children under 14 years age are employed in different kind of labor.
 
Sexual Abuses Against Indian Children:

One of the worst problems in India is sexual abuses against kids. Even children below five years age are getting raped; more than ninety percent of such abused are girls. Shamefully even teachers are engaged in such acts, moreover no clear Indian law is there to tackle such issues.
 
Child Abuse has become a grave issue in remote areas of India, with law authorities doing very little on this issue. It is a shameful act by the so called pedophiles who merely to satisfy their desires spoil the life of a budding child. We live in a country which is know for ethics and moral values imbibed strongly in ourselves. And in such a country acts like Child abuse are a heinous curse.
 
Child abuse is the root cause of depression among children and especially adolescence. Teenagers are usually followed by the same cause of depression in girls. They find it hard to share their feelings with someone who can actually understand them well. Parents should play an important role in protecting their child by becoming their best friends so that children ado not feel hesitate in sharing their feelings with them.
 
In my view this issue should be handled with seriousness because the victims here are the young and budding minds who are not mature enough to handle the embarrassment and pain. It is a heinous crime to abuse a child, may it be a physical torture in the form of injuries or sexual abuse. There should be stricter laws to prevent such acts so that no one dares to think of doing any of such things.
 
Child abuse is an issue of concern. It is faced by majority of children especially in the remote villages where people are ignorant or perhaps scared of taking some grave steps against the culprit. It seems to have affected the mental heath of the children who are victims of such abuses and acts as a hindrance to the mental growth. It is a shameful act where especially the girl child is a victim; nevertheless the boys are no spare to it. People need to be educated and be aware of such trivial issues. Media should be more vigilant and laws should be sterner specially the Police should not neglect such crimes and lend a hand in making India a better nation.
 
Child abuse is a major issue of concern as this affects the mental development of a child. Many children are today victim of child abuse. It is a remarkable initiative on the part of Government as new law have been introduced to protect children from sexual abuse. However, abuse in any form causes serious problem in the development of a child and it seems to be increasing day by day.
 
Child abuse affects the mental development of a child and is one of the most shameful act. Child abuse is raising day by day and is becoming a major issue in our society. Many children fall victim of child abuse and this issue needs to be addressed. People who indulge in such activity should be severely punished not only law but also by the society.
