The violence against women is becoming rampant in India since the past few years. It has been witnessed that women fall victims of various crimes and these crimes are increasing in numbers day by day. The reason behind this increase in various kinds of violence against women is the lack of awareness and education. Apart from these, alcohol consumption and socio-economic status are also the reasons for the increasing violence against women. The question is that how do we combat against this increasing violence against women?

It is very true that violence against women is increasing in India and it is mainly due to the lack or awareness, lack of education, socio-economic status and to add up to it alcohol consumption is also a reason for it. However, there is no problem without a solution and the increasing violence against women can as well be stopped with the change in the mindset of people as well as by spreading awareness among the people.
