We Should Take Pride in Being Indian!

I've come across many youngsters who usually take pride in singing western music, wearing western attires and "trying" to talk their way. I believe we should take pride in being ourselves because we Indians are no way inferior to them. Its just our ignorance and lack of deep understanding of our culture and tradition which makes most of us divert towards the western culture. I think we should develop an understanding and love towards our nation, our people and most importantly our culture and tradition. I guess most of you would agree with me.

I agree with you we should take pride in being Indian. It has been witnessed that the young generation is getting more influenced by the western culture and they take more pride in singing western music, etc. However, they should be taught that our music is more rich and is embraced Worldwide. Many people from foreign nations yearn to learn our music and we should take pride in it, instead of embracing the western culture.

Definitely we should take pride in being an Indian and in my view, there is no music so shooting and refreshing than Indian music. However, as western music is more attractive in many ways, the youth of today are getting more fascinated towards it and another reason is the increasing influence of Western culture. Youth should rather be encouraged in learning our music if we want to save our age-old rich culture.
