I am proud to be Indian. India is not just a country—it's a feeling, a civilization that has stood strong for thousands of years. With its rich cultural heritage, deep-rooted traditions, and unmatched diversity, India holds a unique place in the world. I feel immensely proud to be Indian because of our nation’s glorious history, present achievements, and the potential of its people.

India is the land of great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Bhagat Singh , Sardar Patel, and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar who laid the foundation of our democratic and secular nation. We are also the birthplace of great religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism, which promote peace and compassion.

What makes me proud the most is our unity in diversity. India has more than 22 official languages, hundreds of dialects, and numerous communities, yet we stand united as one nation. Whether it’s celebrating Holi in the north, Pongal in the south, Bihu in the east, or Ganesh Chaturthi in the west—each festival shows our shared joy and harmony.

India is also making significant progress in science, technology, and space. Our space missions like Chandrayaan and Mangalyaan have amazed the world. Indian doctors, engineers, and entrepreneurs are making their mark globally.

To be Indian means to carry forward a legacy of wisdom, resilience, and peace. It is an honor, and also a responsibility, to contribute positively to this great nation. I am proud to be Indian—not just for what India is today, but for what it stands for and what it continues to become.

Indian Youth community members just reply and post Your view about India and tell us that - Why are you Proud to be Indian ? What makes you love India like crazy ?

Proud To Be An Indian................

I Love India not only for the sake of it being the country where I was born........I love this Country for its Rich Tradition,Heritage that we have in here.

Even in the times of modernisation we do try and follow the Family traditions and Respect to the Elders is in our Blood..I dont think any Indian needs to be taught of this unlike the case in other countries.

There is a lot to write if I have to describe my Love and the feelings that I have towards my country, But at times you fall short of words.

I will conclude saying that My love towards this country is as much as my love towards my Family and I am Proud to be born in this Country and will always be commited towards the Progress and wellbeing of the same.

What makes me feel proud, emmmmm being a citizen of a country which has it's own different peaceful image is honorable....

The proud stories related to my country, the culture, the traditions from whom everybody is inspired, makes me feel proud.

The rich heritage, environment...except these all....the most important quality is the "self-respect"

India is a country to whom no one can neglect, you love it or hate it, you simply can't neglect it....

I do proud upon our brave soldiers :cool:....wow they are excellent....

I do proud upon our genius scientists :cool:.....they are simply the best....

I do proud upon our this generation....I love the hidden desire in their hearts to see our country as the most developed country...

I do proud upon the things my country has given to this world.....The beginning has been given to this world from our country...."The Zero"<----- The things start from a zero and end is nothing but a zero.... :)

I do proud that I am from the country of Lord Ram and Krishna....No where you will find the excellent messages as you will find in Bhagwat Gita.....

And the unity in diversity, no where you will find so many cultures together...

I have got tons of reasons to love my country, but the most important thing is I love my country and I got no need to have a reason for it.....:)

Every Indian should be proud to be Indian. This question is worthless. if anyone is not proud he doesnt deserve to be an indian.jai bharat

I am Proud to be an Indian !

It makes me proud as Indians lot of people made success. We personally might not have done any thing but it gives inspiration to so many people. One should read the article by Dr.A.P.J.Kalam to see why we should be proud that our fellow Indian made an indentation in the history. I am very proud that I am an Indian and it gives me pleasure to see any fellow Indian succeed in their dreams and vision.
 
I believe that MY INDIA is a wonderful and beautiful country with lovely people and amazing diversity.I am very proud to be an INDIAN and wish and hope that if i will reborn then i shud be an INDIAN always :)

Why are you Proud 2B an INDIAN ?

Sai Ram. I am proud to be a human being first and foremost.

I am proud to be born in India, which is a Karma Bhoomi and which has given the knowledge of self-realisation to the whole world.

I am proud because I could rise to a fairly high position from a lower middle class background because I was selected by a Dept. (Department of Atomic Energy) which is free from corruption, recommendation and similar ills. Merit alone prevailed in my selection.

I am proud to have served the department for nearly 42 years with no fear or favor. I could hold my head high. I was allowed to do my work.

I have paid my taxes regularly. I have contributed to the spread of knowledge in the country and even abroad.

So, I am proud to have done my own little for the development of the country.

I am an proud India owing to our 5000 years old history and our humanity, peace loving approach, our devotion to helpless, our emotions to suffering and our resolve to endure any dire circumstances. :)

proud to be indian

I am proud to be Indian is simply because of the state in which India is in now. people always tend to comment and lament that india is full of corruption and bribes. but a country of pluralistic culture and a population of 1 billion and many a lot of diversities and only after just 60 years of independence and still achieving this stage where the whole of the world is looking forward for india to emerge as super power is itself a great thing. Yes ofcourse we have some problems but none of us does something to correct it, instead we point fingers at others. These problems always tend to occur in a vast country like india. But i stongly believe, in near future when education reaches all people, these problems will be sorted out.
