Why country to country treaties are needed

When countries are already members of UN and all agree not to support crime in any of the country, why country to country treaties are to be signed for extradition of wanted criminals?

This is a tool used by countries to create terror and disruptive activities in other counties and abuse the crimes for political one -up manship. This is the reason countries like Pakistan,Afghanistan,Dubai and many African countries host criminals and international gangsters and use them for political ends.
This hypocrisy of countries must stop and all UN member counties should hand over wanted persons to a country after initially verifying the genuineness of charges and demand to ensure human rights violations are not done by demanding country for political and economical vendetta. The whole system in world is so much fraudulent that criminals are having whale of a time and international gangsters and terrorists manage to escape law.
Can world community pay attention to this hypocrisy and stop such provisions in name of sovereignty of a country.

I don't think there is any need for specific treaties for every thing of common interest to all countries and basic human rights and law and order issues.
Through out the world people should raise this movement and force countries to agree to exchange criminals being members of UN.That would be true globalization. Mere business globalization is not enough.Soft countries like India suffer.

well, country to country treaties are not really required. many big powers make treaties in order to negotiate certain conditions. these conditions can be met together without any treaties if both the nations are easy going. but due to some antagonist politicians negating the process treaties are made out of no choice and some for personal benefits of a country

The countries do sign extradition treaties, in order to stricken the rules so that even if the culprit escapes from the ground of crime, he or she is still not set lose. Usually after committing crime, criminals migrate to other international location. With the help of these treaties, the government of other nation will also have strict rules and hunt for the criminal. However, this extradition treaty does not stand strong in case of political crimes.

Why treaties are required?

Signing of extradition treaties between countries actually facilitates the process of catching a criminal and on the other hand it also seeks helps from other nation in hunting the culprit. However, the other side I can see of this is that; it also acts as warning to other nations to take primitive actions regarding the possibilities of attacks. This also makes it difficult for the criminal to escape, as the government of signed nations will keep their hunt on.

it is because countries need to be in control of what they do and to do so there needs to be a treaty so as to follow it according to some set of rules. and in case any country fails to abide by such rules can be openly accused of having disobeyed the treaty and be asked for explanation

well treaties are needed to keep the two or more nations stay together legally on some issue or project. all the nations taking part in the treaty work alike and abide by the rules, else no nation would be working in the same direction and same motive, hence it becomes necessary that there is some rule for everyone.

nations around the world need to be well coordinated and well behaved and there should be some protocols for functioning of nations on an issue. unless there are treaties there would not be a common track on which nations plan to move on..

If things were to work on just talks, it would not make sense to have treaties. But the case is not like this with nations because every nation would try to go for its own benefits irrespective of what it does globally. In such a case it becomes imperative that few nations come together and sign up a treaty for a cause so that all of them follow same set of rules and regulations.
