Why politicians does not use Hindi while addressing the masses?

This is the question that usually comes in to my mind that being an indian and in indian politics why the ministers of india like Lal Krishan Advani and Manmohan Singh do not address Indian masses by hindi speeches? Why they use english as their lead language? This should be strictly banned and ministers of india no matter small or big must use Hindi while addressing anyone or giving their statements to the masses. what are your views?

well i myself never heard lal krishna advani using english but yes i have heard manmohan sigh most of the times speaking in english. i think he should practice more of hindi language than english. the usage of hindi as national language is degrading day by day as people are ignoring. if prime minister himself ignores this fact then what should the rest of the people do??

Well, 2 days back only when some saint name Sai baba died, i have heard on SOme news channel the speech that LK Advani was giving. He was using the English language and that too when the topic was related to the Hindus and the holy saint who has nothing to do with english. If they are addressing any foreign affair then it can be digested but using english as a main language in Hindi news channel is completely wrong.

I think its just going on with the trend that makes politicians use English language. Since people in India have a notion that a person speaking in English is well educated and worthy, politicians use English as a tool to portray themselves as more capable, and influential personalities.
