Why to dedicate only a one day to women once in an year when they have given centuries of their dedication, compassion and services to the whole nation and the world? Sometimes, I do wonder what is the significance of celebrating the women's day (that suppose to be the day of women's liberation and freedom) when simultaneously they are being subjected to crimes and violence in the society? Isn't it a fake celebration of their freedom and tribute when at the same time they are made to beg of for the same? Why we do have only one day affair of women's day when women absolutely require respect, dignity and security for whole of their life? Why do we need a "Day" to talk about women's contributions, in fact we all should always be thankful and glad for all the contributions the women have made for the survival for the mankind and that is; "selflessly". I am not here to write upon the significance of women's day in any respect but what I do intend; is to raise the point that women's respect, freedom, independence, service and that everything what they renders to the society and the nation is not limited and framed! The day we all would realize the greatness of Women, we would rather celebrate the whole life dedicated to them and not just a one single day.
