Lemons happen to be the best source of Vitamin C & B, Phosphorous and Carbohydrates. The fruits acids contained in lemon are highly beneficial for the skin as they have the tendency to absorb the extra oiliness of the skin that leaves it clean, supple and fair looking. A regular use of lemon for the skin gives you wonderful result you may use lemon soak extensively to make your hands, body and even feet looking young, fairer and clean. Following are the different soaks that you can make from lemons and use them too:

Lemon Hand Soak

Lemon soak is very helpful for your hands particularly your nails as it strengthen them, cleanses them and makes them shiny. It is just so simple to make and use, squeeze two lemons in a bowl and now dip your fingers into the lemon juice so that your nails are fully dipped into the same. Let your finger tails be soaked for about 10 minutes. During soaking you may also brush up your nails to clean them thoroughly, after that rinse your hands with warm water.


Lemon Body Soak

This body soak is very refreshing as it leaves your body completely fresh and clean. It also helps to reduce any common body pains in muscles and to lesser the body odour. This soak is prepared by adding two cups of lemon juice with 1 tablespoons of cinnamon, 2-4 tablespoons of olive oil and about ½ cup of milk into the bath tub, the water should be warm or lukewarm for getting better results. Soak your body in this lemon soak for about 20-25 minutes you would certainly feel so much relieved and refresh.


Lemon Ginger Foot Soak

This lemon ginger foot soak is very effective as it helps to clean up the dirt, dried skin from your foot. It also helps you improve the skin tone of your foot that is usually little darker because of the direct contact in sunlight. For this you need 1 gallon of very warm water, Juice of 1 lemon, ½ cup of sea salt, and 2 tablespoons of ground ginger. Put all the ingredients into a tub and add warm water to it the water level should be proper as it should cover your feet up to your ankles. Water should be enough warm as you have to soak your feet for little longer but it should also not be very hot that it leaves you burnt. Soak your feet for about 25 minutes and relax. Rinse your feet with fresh water and then apply moisturizer.
