Are the parents encouraging the poor values and unhealthy feelings in their Children?

Every parents want their children to do good in each aspect of their lives, they want them to become the jack of all traits and here begins the ongoing series of many expectations, stress and constant push from the parent’s side. The parents themselves do not realize that when did they become over possessive about seeing their children as successful and famous! Apparently, these are their own wishes and dreams which they could not fulfill somehow and they now consider their children to be responsible to achieve their desired goals. But the pressure of satisfying the dreams of the parents somewhere creates a lot of disturbance and agitation in the minds of the children. And moreover parents unknowingly push their children to imbibe poor values and unhealthy feelings in their life such as the feelings of ‘Competition and Jealousy’. In the furious race of achieving the first place and defeating others, the children tend to become possessive for their own success.

They just cannot bear anyone else to reach at the top and keeping them lagging. But this is surely not favorable for such small children to be indulged in such indecent and unhealthy practices. Here the parents must understand that life is all about success and failures while success gives reason to celebrate failures gives reasons for improvement in life. Both should be accepted with the open hearts. Competition and jealousy had never been beneficial for anyone rather they had resulted in defeat and failures too. Parents should encourage their children to participate and accomplish the tasks with honesty, intelligence and strength, not with cheat and jealousy. And the parents would be able to counsel their children in this regard, only when they themselves would rectify their ideologies at first! What do you think about this ?

Agreed. In the race of life, competition for survival and sustenance, youngsters are forced to compete.Parents often suffer from "egotism" when they see the other kids doing better than their own. However in their own want for success through their kids, parents often forget to lesson their kids with important virtues and morals about life.In fact it is the parents who imbibe in their kids the urge for competition cohesive jealousy envy and demand for success defeating others, and in this process they often demoralize their own children.
Parents often fail to teach their children important lessons about life, that failure is the pillar of success and not necessarily you need to come first always to have a good life in the future.They fail to appreciate the kids if they lag behind even an iota.The greatest lesson in life is the acceptance of failure and learning from ones mistakes, however parents fail to understand this themselves more often because they are blinded by the false extravaganzas of life.
