Are women more mature than men of their same age ?

It's a popular perception that women and girls are more mature than men and boys of their same age...is it really true ?..

what do u think ..?

Its not about personal perception of one person or the other, Human Anthropology and Psychology provides the evidence and reason. Men are less mature as compared to women during a particular span in life, that is during puberty (11-14 years), and the gap is thought to be ~2 years, reason is that this is the time when women experience growth spurt (physically/mentally and sexually), men experience same stage @ 15-18 years. However after 21 years men are comparable to women in all respect.
 
I think girls mature fast but still they act more stupid than boys. I akways this is that stupidity naturaly or they just do to fool we us :)
 
Everything differs from person to person!!

Such sweeping statements are the biggest hindrance in our society's overall growth. Earlier they used to say that "Women are not as efficient as men" ...and actually our society including women believed this thing and worked according to this and similar sayings for centuries.

There are many factors effecting level of maturity in an individual like upbringing, surroundings, interests, etc.

There are many mature "Ramus" and "Chotus" in our country working in stalls, shops, dhabas.....working to support their families...the same age we..at least I struggled in my S.U.P.W. assignments.
 
yes they are!

Women are more mature than men these days. WOmen are more sincere than men and it has been proved medically as well that women are 2 to 4 years mature in their same age..
 
Its not for a fact that women are more mature than men at the same age. Most of the times, its the maternal instinct that makes a women to be perceived as more more mature.

It also depends from person to person. I bet you've come across a very mature 17 year old boy and a very immature 22 year old girl. :)
 
Yes, women are mature than men of the same age.. they have the ability and thinking power better than man.. WOmen can handle teh responsibilities of work and home very well at the age of 18 and boys need time to think about their future at 18 age.. thats why girls are tend to get married at 18 and boys need time..

It all depends up on the upbringing and the way they live their life.. but usually if we talk about this issue then it true.. Girls become mature than boys of the same age..
