Yes! I am an Indian. I do believe and love my India and its culture, I do practice its ethos and strongly recommend it to others. But how many of us truly feel being an Indian? I mean some of us are really swinging in between the two sides of being western or Indian. They are neither purely westernized nor completely Indian. They live in India but believe in western culture, they get everything from their motherland but worships a foreign land. Their own culture is already full of infinite treasures but according to them western culture has been the most influential culture that could ever be found out. What to call such Indians who were born in India but brought up and behave like a 'Firangi'. Their way of living, acting, thinking is all just so much 'westernized'. This is a matter of being loyal and devoted towards your own country and its culture. When one could not be compassionate and dutiful for one's own culture and motherland then how could we ever expect him/her to be ardent for some 'alien culture'? If you are an Indian be it, show it and have proud of it. Do not swing between two different cultures. First try to be adhered to your own country and culture, explore the vastness of India. Get yourself enlightened by the knowledge related to it and set an example of being a True Indian. What do the proud Indians have to say about this?
