Goa has always been the most preferred destination for honeymoon as well as for the youth as Goa offers a lot of relaxation and fun. Goa can be visited anytime during the year but the monsoon season is not very much preferred by the tourist. The actual tourist season starts from mid of December as people all over the World comes here to celebrate and enjoy Christmas and New year. A horde of tourists also visit Goa during the carnival which is 500 years old and is held in the month of February. This carnival is one of the major attraction of tourist as it portrays the blend of Konkani as well as Portuguese culture and is celebrated with grandeur.
