Branded Desktops V/S Assembled Desktops

When you decide to buy a new Personal computer, the most obvious question that hits your mind is whether to buy assembled PC or branded version of desktop PC. Both have their own pros and cons. Thus it is you who should decide which one to buy after going through their merits and demerits.

For most of customers money is a thing that matters the most while buying desktop computer. If you are one of them, assembled desktop is a choice for you. It offers less cost for almost similar configuration that you can get with branded desktop after paying comparatively large amount of money. Main drawback with assembled desktops is that you usually don’t get served for compliant quickly. While in case of branded desktops, to sustain in market competition, immediate service is provided. Thus, if you are planning to buy desktop computer for business purpose, it is suggested to go for branded one. Branded PCs usually come with certified copies of software thus avoid piracy.

Branded PCs create problem when you try to upgrade your system when it is under warranty. If you go for higher version of OS, company does not assure any guarantee for your system because of changes that you have made. Home user generally prefers upgrading system after certain period of time and thus should go for assembled one that provides required flexibility. With branded desktops, you always make to pay for software even if you don’t need them. This thing can be avoided in case of assembled one as you install only that software which you require.

Even if you buy branded desktop, you will find some disadvantages of it over assembled one. Similar can become case with assembled also. Thus, it is your decision whether to buy assembled desktop or branded desktop depending on your needs.
 
If you are an average computer user then go for assembled Computer ... I think assembled computers are best .... You get exactly what you want....

i think assembled desktops are way better than branded desktops as they provide more flexibility in choosing the computer components. you can have a custom made computer according to your own requirements. these days kids play video games which need high resolution graphic cards. these cards are compatible only with certain processors and so you can go for them incase of assembled ones but not in case of branded ones.
 
assembled computers are the best. because assembled Desktops can give you variety and Option to choose from. You can choose the hardware you want to Use in Your Computer, thats the benifit

I'll prefer Assembled Desktop Over Branded Desktop
 
many people have doubts in the beginning, whether to go with the branded ones or the assembled ones. both have their own pros and cons. if you are willing to shell out little more money and are not keen to spend much time on its service, go for branded ones as you get good service and reliability. with extra money u can upgrade product parts. assembled ones come in low prices but do not offer reliability and looks.
 
I think it's better to buy Brand New Computer because there's only 5k to 8k differences and 99.50% people don't know the Computer's hardwares,but the DELL computer offers customization of yours choise if you want to buy brand new but with few assemble hardware.
 
It's simple to choose. If one is aware of all the hardwares involved in the computer, go with assembled computers. And if one is a layman and cannot tell much about the hardwares, go with Branded ones because with the branded ones, all you need to worry about is paying the price.
 
Assembled desktops are good. Mainly because you can choose any kind of brand, may be it is the best. I choose assembled desktops over branded ones.
 
Both Branded and Assembled PCs have their own merits and demerits. However, if you are a layman and money is not an issue than you should go for branded desktops. Assembled ones are better in many ways such as, it is less costly, you can choose the bands you want, you can choose the configuration you want as well as choose the hardware that you think is necessary for you.
