yES! Why not? Girls and boys can be friends. There is an illusion in the minds of people that a girl and a boy cannot be good friends forever. But this is not always right. I have a friend since 9 years and we still talk over phone.. I have a boy friend who loves me a lot and Know my friend.. SO I think there is no issue in that..
 
Yes, they can be good friends but this love comes in between at some point of time.. I think they canbe good friends in starting but later on they turn into lovers.. hahhahaha
