Indian government under the e-Governance plan has introduced crime criminal tracking network system on a pilot scale which aims to build a database of criminals, recording their crime, their biometrics and other associated information. This would certainly improve the tracking of criminals across the country and also help in reducing the crime scenes as people would be afraid of getting their names on electronic records. What is your view?
