Poor children in India are child labors ,their own parents and guardians are encouraging child to work,even though lot of sections and laws are not permitting so but,child labour are going on increasing,in the houses of rich people, politicians and celebrities child labor are seen even allof them known about everything no one, uplift them to study.It is very common thing for them,their speeches are meant only for meetings but not in practical life.All the child should stop working,and they should be accommodated well to study.
 
Its sick

THis is a matter of fact that more than 60% of children below teh age of 10 years are working as a tea staller, working in dhabas and as a shoe mendor.. This hurts us but politicians have become deaf and they are bsuy in making their own luxury. It is banned but why still millions of children working at the stage of getting proper education?
 
Its a very sad matter to discuss.. I believe child labour in india has increased a lot.. where evr you go in any part of india you will see children working at stations, dhabas, parlor, restaurants and as a beggar.. this is very sad part of indian people..
 
Losing the childhood

Poverty drives out the tender hands to work in different sectors. The problem of the child labors is increasing very rapidly. The Government has made law for them but it is not followed. The elders of the family are forcing the children to work in adverse areas like cracker factory, domestic helper, worker in the local tea shop and other places. They are deprived of education and the worst thing is that they are losing their childhood which is very precious.
 
I cry inside when I see a "Chhotu" everywhere...restaurants, petrol pumps, mechanic shops, general stores, etc. There are many NGOs and organizations for such unfortunate children but on paper. Currently, there are 2 Million registered NGOs in India....I repeat registered...to get benefits, grants and aids from government, public, corporates and foreign countries.....for themselves. God!
 
A serious problem

It is the most serious problem that India is facing today. I really feel bad when I hear of so small kids working to earn bread for their own selves.

Doesn't it shake your soul when you hear about child labour? I don't understand that why is this problem arising in our nation? How can any person take work from small kids, who should learn to study in school to make their lives worth living?:mad:
 
Child labor in india is another social evil prevailing in india. The reason for this is poverty. Poor people do not have enough money to bring up their children and educate them. So they send them for work as this helps them to earn little money. Though education is made free, some people send their children for work as they can make more money if they are not working. Citizens of india should come forward to check such activities.
 
Child labor in India is a big issue. The people below poverty line are having more kids and they do not have enough money to feed so many mouths and hence their parent only encourages them to work. The child labor in India is increasing with population and government as well as the people of Indian should support this movement, by not encouraging the children to work. The government should develop more centers where these deprived children can get basic education, which can help them in their future.
 
Need to address some issues regarding child labor.

  • Some working places are hazardous to health, children may be or may not be aware of it's consequences.
  • Some employers exploit child labor. They pay less to children.
  • Children may be forced to do work against their wishes. Girls may be forced into prostitution.
There may be lot of other issues like child may not be given all rights deserved as an employee. In such cases we need some law to alleviate child abuses. Either government provide all basic facilities required for living so that poor children can study and make their future better or should provide the appropriate job opportunities. Banning child labor will cause problems for poor children, who have no other source of income. But if measures are not taken to specify rules regarding child labor some selfish people may exploit children.

Most children work to support their family. if child labor is banned, their family will die of malnutrition. so unless proper means are there to provide basic square meals to all, Child labour can not be banned in India.Laws should be enforced against bonded or forced labor and children should be provided all rights deserved as a worker.
 
india is witnessing rise in child labor as people are finding it easy to deploy children into smaller activities for low wages. the parents of poor children find it better to send their child to work rather than sending him/her to school as they bring home money and this helps them match their financial needs.
 
why child labour is there?have we ever thought about that?it is just because we are permitting it.you should avoid taking tea at the shop where a child works .And i will say more to that please you personally don't employ a child as a worker.if you really want to make this forum successful then give education to child.
 
So easy for us to say-stop child labor. But give it a second thought. If they stop doing this how can they survive? Ask the government to increase Poverty Alleviation Programs. We have no food security and you ask them to stop earning the little they can.
 
the issue which is quite rampant is child labor. we can see many children working in the streets, at restaurants, and many such places. moreover children are found begging on the roads who are mostly employed by gangsters to raise huge amount of money. all this is in notice of the government and yet there is very little being done on this issue.
 
Child labor is the biggest evil that is prevailing in india these days. if we cannot put a stop on corruption then we can at least put a stop on child labor which is not at all tough. We can inform police regarding child labor where ever we see as this is banned in our country. we can do our part and rest is on the government. central government should think about many reforms according to which childen get right education at right time.
 
Who want their children to work in the dhabas, railway stations and otehr places at the age off studying and playing? but it happens in india to great extent because of the people whoa re living below the poverty line. they have to send their children to work at such places in order to make a living. child labor was banned way back by the indian government but still it is in practice by huge number of children who are forced by their parents to work in the places which are not at all hygienic and worst.
 
we have many children working and eking out in india. it is sad to look at those young budding minds to be employed for small works at such a tender age without having proper education. though we have child labor acts and laws to prevent this, it cannot be completely eliminated because the parents of such children are involved in this matter. so i think the parents of such children must be molded in order to prevent child labor and promote child education.
 
Child labor is the biggest issue of india that is growing day by day. Government though has put ban on child labor but still it is increasing at a rapid speed and there are reasons behind this. People are becoming poorer day by day because of the poverty parents have to send their children at work when should go to school. Government's lockers are increasing but the money is limited only to their hands. No policy or constructive work is give to poor people so that they can earn their living and stop sending their children at work. Mistakes are from both sides but the huge blame goes to the govt.
 
Female literacy rate in Kishanganj District and other parts of the nation is highly decreasing. this gives boost to child labor. The District Kishanganj is least female literate district of the country and only 18 per cent of girls are literate. The percentage of female literacy rate has not increased over past few years. Negligence of the parents is one of the prime reasons behind the low literacy rate. Children are forced to work at different places due to illiteracy.
 
Child labor in India is banned still its increasing. Millions of children in today’s world undergo the worst forms of child labor which includes Child Slavery, Child Soldiers, Child Trafficking, and Child Prostitution. There are about 13 million child laborers in all over the world. But the actual number is much higher. The working rate of the children in India between the ages of 10 to 14 years is 14.4%.
 
India Giving Up To Child Labor: India ranks second in the world with highest number of child labor. In India as per present scenario many children within 14 years of age are becoming part of different industries at cost of their childhood, adolescence, health, and even their lives. this is simply not done as it gives way to increase in child labor activities.
