Class Struggle In India Continues since ages. According to official sources only 5-6% of 210 million Indian children in age group of 6 to 14 years are not attending school. UNESCO reports India one of 40 odd countries which won't be able to meet most of Education For All Goals even by 2015.

Class struggle would always remain rampant in a country like India because government is bent on reminding people that they belong to different classes. Class system is a big paradox in the name of secularism which people are categorized into various classes and given reservations in the name of social justice, but this also gives them a tag that they were once a backward class.
Even after 65 years of India's Independence, class struggle still exist in our nation. Although the Indian Constitution prohibits class discrimination, it still exist in our society that needs to be removed if we want our nation to progress and develop. Class struggle is infact increasing instead of reducing but even modernization has not helped reduce the class differences that still exists.

Class struggle still exist in India and this is because of the unequal distribution of income in our society. Moreover, it is witnessed that the rich are getting richer and poor are getting poorer. Unless this inequality is removed, the class struggle that exist in our society will continue to exist and it will never come to an end. Only with bringing equality in the income, the class struggle can come to an end.
