We are always told that we should follow our interest. Often, we tire of our interest and then are in an ugly situation. Where to go from there?

Sometimes, the interest is not that yielding in terms of money.

Sometimes, it is something that requires more investment of time and money than our circumstances allow.

What is alternative for this? Is following your interests really a great idea? If not, what are the other options ? Which is the best option among them?

Following interest is a great idea as it comes with benefits like job satisfaction, happiness and personal development. A job done is only worth if it is done with matching vigor and willingness otherwise a half-hearted effort is never good for both the parties – neither for getting a good outcome of the jib and nor for the concerned individual’s mental growth. A basic principle that follows this question could be that, we have to live what we do for lifetime. Hence, doing what we love is surely better than doing something for the sake of surviving.

Interests are nothing but the following of passion by an individual. But again fulfilling of dreams costs in many ways. While these constraints can be kept aside as long as the individual puts in his 100% effort and dedication into it. This will give a sense of gratification to that person and the pain of the constraints can be easily overcome with the willpower of achieving that goal. Every person must think of an alternative plan for his life in every case. Because, life is not bed of roses rather a path of thorns. So be prepared to face every hurdle. The passion or interest can be and must be followed sometime in due course of living, but living or survival comes first.

But pursuing interest shouldn’t affect others and must not be time consuming, such that it becomes a headache for family. You should me smart and active enough to fulfill your passion without bothering others.
