Courtallam is a small town located in the district of Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu and is situated at an altitude of 167 meters on the Western Ghats. The town is known as the "Spa of the South" and is famous for waterfalls and ancient temples. The town has seven waterfalls, which originate from the Chittar River. It has many mythological stories related to it. It is an important waterfront destination of Tamil Nadu and these waterfalls attract a lot of tourist for the mesmerizing natural beauty of the land.
