India started off their World Cup 2011 campaign with an emphatic 87-run win against co-hosts Bangladesh, avenging the loss of 2007.

India won their Match against Team Ireland in the 2011 Cricket World Cup by 5 wickets. Yuvraj Singh starred for India with both bat and ball however, it was All rounder Yusuf Pathan who pulled India out of a hole against a spirited Irish team.

India beat Netherlands by five wickets. Netherlands won the toss and elected to bat. They put 189 runs on board which Indian Team chased down successfully in 37 overs. Yuvraj Singh was named Man of the Match for unbeaten 50 runs and 2 wickets.

In a thrilling finish at Jamtha Stadium in Nagpur, South African Team beat India by 3 wickets with two balls remaining. South African Batsman Robin Peterson (18 off 7 balls) and Faf du Plessis (25 off 23 balls) put on a decisive 21-run eighth-wicket stand to get past India's score of 296. Amla (61), Kallis (69) and De Villiers (52) put the South Africans on course but Harbhajan Singh (3/53) put a check on the scoring rate, but only just. Botha's cameo 23 off 15 balls gave South Africa the advantage and Peterson gave the finishing touches. Dale Steyn was Man of the Match for his 5 for 50.

India Team beat Team West Indies by Eighty runs. Indian Team won the toss and courtesy a superb century from Indian Batsman Yuvraj Singh and a 50 Runs from Virat Kohli saw India put up 268 on board. West Indies batsmen started well but break through from Indian Bowler Zaheer Khan saw India register an easy win.
 
great going india!!! till now india has done good and won consecutive matches and made place in super 8. however the competition becomes tough here and so indian team would have to be more alert during the game play. its only the bowling section and fielding section where our team lags. if it overcomes these aspects i think india would have chance to get the cup.
