Dhoni VS Ganguly

guys just look at Mahender singh dhoni, he already has a legacy with him. he has killed the best sides at their turf within 1-2 years of captaincy. he has created a team who every1 in the world will fear.

while i accept ganguly was a successful captain but i don't think he can ever come close to what Dhoni has already achieved. people who talk about him being most successful captain should also know that he had lost most numbers of finals as an Indian captain.


Dhoni is creating a dress room chemistry by skilled man-management but wat ganguly did was creating camps, he actually used shout at players, abuse them, Have anyone of you seen Dhoni doing this???

I know know it doesn't matter much now but ganguly ruined the career of Off-spinner Sunil Joshi.

Ganguly has got just victories to his name but MSD has the victories along with EUPHORIA around the team.

Under Ganguly team never threatened the No.1 position holders, now we are all set to be No.1.

so after all Dhoni has proved himself way better then Ganguly.

DADA was and will always remain a icon in Captaincy.but the vibrance that I can feel sitting at home seeing Mahendra singh dhoni is something out of the world.He is firm , he is cool & composed , he is consistent , leads from the front , nothing else is played than just pure cricket , amazing decisions , quick senses , can handle masters in team yet down to earth . thats Dhoni !

I don't agree with u, because Ganguly was a great captain & successful in his work. It was Ganguly who had made the INDIAN team proud by creating the team strong when it was under match fixing. It was Ganguly who brought great players to our country. Where as MSD had become caption when the team was growing ,so he is able to go and win matches.
When it comes to both Ganguly was good during his time & MSD is good during his time.

5) I'm sure M.Kaif and Irfan Pathan are going to be the Future of cricket.

6) Chemistry ????? ---- Ganguly is a leader . who puts orders and wants his team to do or DIE

7) DADA doen't know how to do polictics.. He knows only one thing ??? How to extract the performance ..

8) I tell you a Real time example of the current indian team....( Take Australia as an example ... Australia is winning matches I don't say that pointing is a Best Captain ... Bcoz After loss of A.Gilchrist,Hayden,A.Symonds,M.Grath,Langer,Martyn,S.Warne.. They struggling to win the Match... With these people its was easy for Pointing to win the matches..

Sangakara is the best Wk come captain.. He plays according to the Situation and not like dhoni coming Hitting and Going to the Pavillion...

Last but not least Dhoni can't replace Ganguly... only 2yrs Gone Dude .. Many Years to come

dada s a good captain and a amazing batsman. dhoni is a good captain and a good wicket keeper bats man. in my openion, they are equelly good captain's.:cool::o:p
 
ganguly was a good captain and led the indian cricket team well. however i must say that it was tough time during that session as the players were not in good form. but things are little different with dhoni, the players are in good form and are experienced themselves and so they do not need dhoni. but he has seemed to be a lucky guy as india has won world cup during his tenure..

There is no comparison between the duo. Dhoni is an amazing captain whereas ganguly was a good player. We have won world cup and many test and international matches just because of the captain-ship of Dhoni. he is an outstanding captain who knows how to handle the team and how to motivate the team as well as handle the pressure. Ganguly was just a player.
 
Dada was a leader. He extracted all best players of India. Dhoni is indeed a superb player, captain, human being as well. One shouldn't forget under captaincy of dada India made up to finals of world cup. We lost the world cup that day because of one of the greatest Australian team. When Dhoni was captain, Indian team is considered as the brightest team of all. There's no doubt and one should be clear in mind that Dhoni won the cup with the best team. So I feel Dada is the best.
 
It is not good to compare two players with each other as both have their own ifs and buts to share. They both are considered as the best players of their time and have taken india to world cup under their captaincy. But it is a good thing and in favor of Dhoni that india won world cup. Ganguly though have made players but Dhoni has got all perfect players team with him. He has no doubt taken the level of Indian cricket team to great standards. But comparison between the two cannot be made.
 
Its a sports game,and i dnt tnk so in captaincy,we compare there points...both are gud and both scored well for over nation...but its all abt time stil dhoni won the world cup recently..so its a grt honor for indian team....coz people are always remember the recent activities..so dats why youth is also crazy for dhoni..but both are superb.There is no comparison between both of us...
