With economic reforms that started in India, many foreign companies started investing in the Indian market. Their presence can be felt in various sectors and Media is one of those. Today many channels like CNN, Start World, BBC News etc are liked and watched in every house in India. Many foreign companies has tied up with Indian Media like the CNN-IBN. This is not a very good sign because this leading to all the flaws in Indian Media. However, the fear will be more when foreign media will enter into the print media.

Well, the foreign media has improved versions of infrastructure and technology which is the reason why they are able to gather high volumes of consumers. Most of these media are flawed due to the fact that they operate for sole purpose of making profits, either by fair or by unfair means. I feel that we cannot rely on any media for the facts they produce because almost all of them get swayed by the money for which they are ready to manipulate their news. How do you think should they be regulated?

Like everything else, Foreign media also has both positive as well as negative effects. Foreign media has definitely improved the infrastructure and technology of Indian media and transformed it into a lucrative business. Foreign media has also helped people know about the other cultures of the World. However, it also comes with some negative effects which make a great influence in Indian media.
