Foreign Television Channels are Destroying Our Culture

Indian culture is rich and divers, however, today's youth are more inclined to embracing the western culture. This is mainly the influence of foreign Television Channels. These channels are destroying our culture because western culture do not have any cultural or social values. Western Culture do not have family values as such and these foreign channels are influencing the youth to a great extent creating a threat to Indian Culture. What are your views in this context?

Definitely Indian culture is very rich and is one of the oldest culture in the World. I do not agree with you that Foreign Television channels are destroying our culture. This is a time for Globalization and these TV channels are helping us to know the culture of other nations. As every culture has both good things as well as bad things, similarly the Western culture and even the Indian culture.Moreover if we as Indian expect the people from the West to embrace our culture than what is the harm if we embrace the good things that the Western culture which teaches us? It is our fault if our culture is getting destroyed and we cannot blame the foreign TV channels for it.

Indian culture has been taken over by westernization and it is seen that the young crowd of India are getting more influenced by western culture and the sole reason for this is the advent of foreign television. There is no doubt that foreign television channels have made the World into a Global village but have also been destroying our age-old rich culture by influencing the youth to embrace western culture.
