Gwalior is an important heritage destination of India and its rich culture and heritage attracts a lot of tourists from all over the World. It is situated in the Gird region in the state of Madhya Pradesh and has been an important city since the ancient times. The city is well known for its rich heritage and history related to it. The major attraction of Gwalior include Mansarovar Tal, Gangola Tal, Katora Tal, EkKhambha Tal, Rani Tal, Chedi Tal, The tomb of Ghaus Mohammed, The Gwalior fort, Gujari Mahal, eli-ka-Mandir, Surya Mandir, Gurudwara Data Bandi Chhod and Dargah Khwaja Kanoon Sahib. The memorials of legends which include Chhatris of Scindia Dynasty and the Samadhi of Rani Lakshmi Bai are also some of the sightseeing places of the city.
