How should rapists in India be dealt with?

The number of rapes are increasing in India and not only women or young girls but even children are becoming victims of such hideous crime. The children or women are not even safe at their homes as many such cases have been reported and is becoming a major issue of concern for the whole nation. How do you think we should deal with this problem? How should we deal with the rapists is a major question.

I agree that the number of rapes have increased in our society and this is due to the male dominance that still exist in our society. Owing to this male dominance, men feel superior to that of women and in order to show their masculinity, they force themselves on women, no matter if she is his daughter, student and for that matter any women. However, these rapists can be dealt with by making proper laws that will be capable of punishing them. They should be punished severely of which castration can be an option but not death penalty as it is an easy escape.

This in indeed a very crucial question to be answered. However, in my opinion, rapists should not be hanged rather they should be kept secluded from the people even from their inmates in jail. Giving death sentence as punishment is no solution as it is an easy escape rather they should be forced to realize their act and repent. This will perhaps help in reducing the escalating number of rapes in our society. What do you think?
