I smoked for 30 yrs....30 per day.I used Champix and havent smoked since August.My father had smoked for 50 years and has also given up using Champix.I still feel like a smoke at times so there is a constant battle but the Champix takes away the physical and mental pain of withdrawal.Its not for everyone but worked for me and my Dad

I totally agree with you that giving up smoking totally depends on the will power. Even medicines cannot easily make people give up smoking but a strong will to quit smoking can be more effective. In my opinion, giving up smoking is not a long procedure but can be done with one go if the person id determined to give up smoking.
