While travelling to India, it is necessary to have the knowledge of the currency of India. It is in Rupee. One rupee is equal to 100 paisa. The exchange rates for 1 US $ is Rs.46 approximately. though the number keeps on fluctuating but one should be aware of the new sign of the rupee and the currency conversion things while traveling to India.
 
This is the travel tip which is not only useful when you are traveling to india. In fact even if you are a tourist and you are traveling to other place such as any foreign country then it is always advisable that you take a complete knowledge of the place you are about to visit. You should be aware about the language, food, currency of the place you are visiting. Currency conversion is also a must thing if your currency is not appropriate for the other country.
 
This is a very important information which foreigners should know. This is because many of them are fooled out by the indian sellers by giving away products at exorbitant prices. This is because foreigners are unaware of the the value of indian rupee. If foreigners keep proper information on the value of indian currency and travel, there would be less chances for them to be looted.
