India is a democratic country,every Indian has right to vote but many Indians don't know what power they have in their hand. Lower voter participation is a silent threat to Indian democracy.This thread is for those who really know the power of their vote and want to direct our nation in a such a way that we really justify the meaning of democracy. Please reply with the Heading ' I know Power of My Vote '.

The upward mobile class in India shuns voting. If they understand their responsibility towards the Future of India and come out to vote , a lot can change in our India.

If only educational institution can be persuaded to ask their students to go home and get a written commitment from their elders or parents that for their sake they will vote in the next election a social revolution can be set in motion. Everyone can make a difference.Write or meet head of institutions and request them to take the lead.

Good thought "Bad Politicians are chosen when good people fail to Vote" and i agree we all should vote to make the change.But lets think why people don't vote?or they don't come to vote

Go and ask why you don't vote to an former or daily worker or an common man (i have asked sometime) the reply we get it whats going to change it might be any govt but we will still face the same problem as we are facing we still need to fight for the one day payment we cannot blame them also they are right these politician go to them only on the time of election forget about them even we speak about this till election finish then no one will visit Politics forum i think.

I know its better to vote and bring some one rather than just sitting and giving country in others hand but untill these politicians don't make there name and create trust in the voters mind till there will be same voting turnout. Our politics and politicians need to create love and trust in voters mind in such way that no need to call/force anyone to vote.

Our vote is indeed very important as it can avoid the bad politician to stand out in the elections. But still people are very ignorant about the vote procedure .. untill and unless they are educated enough to think and vote their vote will be of no value.
 
I know the power of my vote

It is the duty of the Indians that they must know his power of the vote. Voting power is the ultimate power of the citizens of any democratic country. The election gives the chance to select the ruling leaders. There are many parties in India and the citizens have the full power to vote and select the most eligible party who will lead the country in a better future.
 
The country lies in our hands

India is the largest democracy with the maximum number of political parties. However the citizens are free to choose whoever they want to see as their representative in the government. Thus it becomes very important that we use this power of ours in a very wisely. It is our decision that will be making all the difference in our lives.
 
I Know Power of My Vote

Today most of the Indians do not go to the voting centers as they feel that all the political parties are of same type and will work more for themselves rather than for the people and country. I know the power of my Vote. I know it will create a difference to our country. India is still suffering from Illiteracy and if every educative people start thinking that his or her vote will not make a difference, than probably we are not only betraying our country, but we are also pushing it in worst state. Therefore, every citizen should vote with a belief that his or her vote will make a difference to their country, and this is their way of respecting and contributing to their country.

yes the power of vote is great. it has got the power to decide the winner of election. the present scenario of voting is that most of us educated people do not realize the value of our votes. our individual votes do count. we being responsible citizens of India should take part in choosing the right government to come into the tenure.

in a democratic country like india, the vote of each citizen is very crucial as there are many companies striving to come into power. we should practice voting as our voting can create differences in number of votes for a party. we should elect member or party that could be conducive for the nation.
 
In india voting is not done on full scale basis and the reason for this is all of us do not recognize the power of voting. If voting is done unbiasedly and collectively, we can elect the right political parties for our country. But due to certain snags like corruption during election, influenced voting, tampering with votes etc cause distortion in the end result which takes away the belief of common man in the voting system. However we must not stand back and still vote for the best and contribute to our society from our end.
 
Voting is an important aspect that helps in choosing your government and it is our duty to select the government and we all should cast vote to the best candidate available in the center. voting is our duty and we should be sincere in casting vote for the best candidate and political party. you should know the power of your vote as it is teh best tool to select your type of government.
 
When you go to vote then you should be knowing the importance of voting. Voting is indeed a significant task that requires a complete concentration and vigilance. When you vote for any political leader or party then make sure you know the main things about the party like how the party grows and what all work the party did in past for the country. Your vote can make the leader that rule you.
 
I do agree that power of vote is something very strong. But then this is only when votes remain unbiased and voting machine are left without any tampering. Huge amount of money is spend during the elections to manipulate the votes and gain votes from large masses of poor people. Unless we stop all this we cannot completely utilize the power of vote. Agree?
 
While educating the people on national issues,they should be taught about the importance and the power of a single vote.but firstly it is important to make the people of India literate.Only literacy will change their mindset and make them aware of the national issues and most importantly they will realize what is their role in the country.
However it does not mean that all educated people vote.Many enjoy the election days as holidays and think that their vote won`t make much difference.Their vote is useless and going to the polling booth to vote is long way.But this is real blunder on their part.We should not ignore our responsibilities towards the country.Rights come with duties.The country has given us many Rights for our benefit,we enjoy them.So,it is our responsibility to do our duties sincerely.The right to vote is a very important duty and every individual of the nation must use it sincerely.Only then the country will have the perfect democratic government and work for the development of the nation.
 
Right to vote is a right conferred to every citizen of a democratic nation as it is the basic essence of any democracy. As a Democratic nation, every citizen of India is as well provided with the right to choose our own leader through voting. This right should be exercised by every citizen wisely as it will help in choosing a proper government and help in shaping as well as development of the nation.
