India lacks the equipment and latest technology to carry out surveillance campaigns. With number of threats along its border line, India really needs to refurbish its surveillance capabilities in order to keep a watch on the active as well as passive threats. I could possibly have a dedicated satellite solely serving the military purpose which could help India improve on Reconnaissance and Surveillance. This could help Indian defense to make better strategies and action plans.
