India has access to sea on three sides, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands ofcourse can be a great strategic centers for Indian Defense. There are about 540 islands which comprise the group of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. These islands are not much developed and have rich flora and fauna. Since these islands have dense rain forests, these can be really hard to carry out surveillance upon and hence these can be strategic locations for Indian Army. We already have bases in Port Blair and Car Nicobar, but there is ample scope for development of defense bases on these Islands. Any views?

I agree with you that India can utilize the Sea as its defence strategy. India can without any doubt have abundant scope for development of defense bases on the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and this will also improve the security of our nation. Moreover, as India is surrounded by Sea on the three sides, it can be one of the best defence hub for the nation.
