India is on its way to develop indigenous technology to strengthen cyber security. DRDO has taken forward this step in order to make our cyber security network unbreachable by bringing together various top level organizations to work on it. ANURAG ( Advanced Numericals Research and Analysis Group ) of DRDO is one amongst them which is working on developing indigenous routers, Processing systems and Operating systems. I think this would greatly enhance our defence networking and surveillance capabilities. Can anything else be done?

Cyber crimes are at a rise in India and it is definitely a threat to the National Security. The new initiative by Government to develop better cyber security routers is appreciable as it will help in securing and protecting the defence network. This will also help in guarding and have a better National security. In my view, there should also be better laws related to cyber crimes.

We do have enough cyber laws which are entailed under the IT ACT, however the laws are not strictly implemented as of now. One of the reasons is that government does not have enough human force to control cyber crimes in India and secondly its easy to commit cyber crime in India because of slack cyber cafes available for use without any ID proofs.
