The art of living is often referred to as culture. It refers to the department of intellect which is evolved out from the mental and physical training obtained in due course of phase in a country. The Indian culture is the best in the world and embraces the following:

Kindness - The tenderness of the Indians is continuing till date besides of the violence and fierceness of the Muslims and the British, the Dutch and the Portuguese. Indians are renowned and distinguished for their kindness and peaceful nature without having any roughness in their ideals and principles.

Patience - Mahatma Gandhi’s Ahimsa which took the Indians for obtaining freedom without shredding a drop of blood, the workers thanked the Indians and credited the international arena. Swami Vivekananda also spoke this in his speech.

Harmony - India is a union of men and women of different castes and creeds. It is a mixture of old customary values and modern principles. This satisfies the three generations in India. The rich and the poor share the same news and worship the same God.

Secularism - As stated in the constitution India is a secular country. There is freedom to worship in part of India without any breeches or contravention of any other religious belief. The Hindus, The Sikhs, The Christians and The Muslims worships together at the time of disaster and during the festivals they all come together. It can also be best understood that the Hindus and Sikhs visit church and Mosque too.

Joint Family System & Cultural Heritage- It is usually based on the joint System. But now nuclear families are in demand. The joint family consists of Grandfathers, fathers, sons, grandsons and great grandsons who share the same tradition, culture, spirit and property. There is varieties of culture in India. The oldest one is the Negroid aboriginals. They are also called as Adivasis.
