Indian Education System

We have such a big education system and from last 60 years we are saying we need to educate everyone in India but still it is failing why when i was thinking of it i was able to get some good points and thought of putting these here to get your view

If we look at the our education life we feel that 1-10th class education is the most important to build anyone's life. This is the time when most of us decide to go higher and some quit there education and the main factor behind decision will be the education and motivation we got in this 5-10 year if we have good master good education we are sure that we go more high otherwise we remain same as we where
Now lets look these education year here we meet our masters and i feel this is the main area where everything is failing our most of the master(May not be all) are not having ability to motivate a child they fail in that they just concentrate on there salary than educating a child

Now lets look back at the education system who are these masters where they come from if we look at 12th grade result its like this
Marks 80% above will go for Doctor or Science field(most of them)
Marks 60% above go for the Engg degree(most of them)
Marks 50% student try to get In TCS(Teacher degree)

when we have teacher who are just passed there exam it very hard to find them inspire the student they teach and here our system fails
I feel we should give more important to teachers in the system than the doctor or Eng which is not happening now if teacher is good then we can get 100 good doctor and good professional when root itself is bad then how can we expect it to give good fruits.

Think of person like APJ teaching in the school can motivate 100rs and create 100 more APJ in the country

:)

I am sorry but I have to differ with you here.

I feel the Qualified teachers have worked Hard enough to be at the place they are.

Becoming an teacher is NOT an easy job, not everyone can become a Qualified teachers.

Its another story about how seriously a teacher takes his job.

It all boils down to aspirations, i know people who the lowest scorers in the class and ended up becoming a commercial Pilot.

Yes they have worked hard to be in that place i think u took me in wrong way i am not saying they are bad i am saying if we give profession of teaching more important than the doctor or the another profession then we can see more development than now.
If you go and see in villages there teachers just come to take their salary not to teach. then how they will inspire the students and i wanted to say if we give this profession more important then we can see more member taking up the teaching profession than other

and What I am trying to say is, Teachers have to really work hard for their qualifications not as hard as doctors though, but not many opt for that profession is becuase its not as well paid as other professions, nor many people are inclined to take teaching as a career.

Here i am inline with u and i am talking to making change in here only we should give more value to the teacher profession as they are the one who influence the country more than anyone
Good doctors come from good teacher but still we pay much to doctor not teacher

I came to the right post...

I have a high dream to make a rapid change in our education system. I am ready to contribute to it. By changing the educational system/by educating more we can atleast make the future generations the best in all times.

Simple..

Education in India right now is like reading books and just do a vomit in exams... This should change. Real education is the one which makes a person think. So we all should develop the power of reasoning (asking why for everything, our elders dont like this).

Moreover, we should also realise that education is not merely in books It should motivate a person in all respects (like sports, social life etc). This exactly isnt happening in our country as we give more preference to exams and marks.

Right to Education Act in india. From, April 1, 2010 the right to Education has come into force ensuring free education to more than 92 lakh out of school children in India. The passage of this act gives every child the right to a quality elementary education. All children aged 6-14 shall have the right to free and compulsory education at a neighborhoods school.

Since independence, one of India's prime objective is education. We have shown some positive move in recent times, but it is still not enough. Many areas don't have school in their region. Many schools are over occupied. For these reasons many kids are deprived of education. One of the major step which school and colleges need to take is the proper utilization of school building. I know this is not sufficient but we need to start from a small step.

Indian education system has many flaws and it has actually become worst since the grading system has come in to existence. This grading system has eliminated the spirit of healthy competition among the students and dull students compare them to the bright students even if they get fewer marks. I seriously do not like the present education system of our country.

@khushboo I am very much in support of Khushboo. India where competition is so much tough that even there is a value of even 1 marks. Grading system has a very bad effect especially for the brilliant student.

For mediocre student it is a fantastic thing for him.

But this system needs a proper revision

Yes i do agree! Merely cramming the books during exams and blurting it out on papers doesn't impart the real education. The sad part of our education system is assessment of a student is not in the right way. Marks aren't the problem. Problem is marks are given only for final exams which include only bookish subjects. If there are marks for every month's assessment which include extra curricular activities as well, then we can witness a significant change in our education system.

The education system in India dates back to the 20th century and it is has become immensely important to change the whole education system in order to be at par with the changing world. The education system in India only literates the people and do not actually educate them. The competition here is only to gain more and more marks and not knowledge. This is not the right attitude. Education should not be limited to books but should also include other activities that will keep the mind and body fresh. It is now high time to change the existing education system that is prevalent in India.

Indian education system needs reformation. Most of the institutes still follow old syllabus and nothing new is taught. Indian education system lags behind in many ways and in my view, the whole teaching system should be changed. Interactive education should be introduced in schools and colleges as this helps in grooming the students as well as makes them more alert and attentive. Seminars should be conducted and every student should be given opportunity in it.
