the main disadvantage to indian students is our education system. I am not criticizing indian students, I am saying about the system.In india a student does not even know exactly what have they learnt regarding to the real world application. take a engineering/intermediate student he does not know what his syllabus learnt him.the system must be at a stage of learning something which is applicable ,after learning that topic student should be design any project by using his knowledge.i support this type education system.but there is no chance for interaction of syllabus to the real time applications.lecturers says about all useless laws but they dont tell about there real world applications and their application,please think about it.why a engineering student not able to design his own project after the completion of his course also .all are wasting so much of time on this useless education system.if our system may involve in real time application it will make perfect creative india.

education in india is not on par with education abroad. the reason which i think for this is that we dont have practical knowledge to what we read and learn. education should have practical applications and students lack this section of education and so i think this is a draw back in our education system. also education for all should be the motto ensuring quality education by qualified teachers.

Personally i dont think that reading ancient stuff is of any harm or waste of time for the students as it is very important people to know about their ancient period and the sculpture. Moreover, Knowing traditional things is always important and abide you by your base and you will know that where is your origin is from. I just see the classroom structure and the hectic tech life of schools and colleges that possesses lot many flaws.

indian education system needs a strong revival. entire syllabus of all courses are absolutely obsolete. moreover the teaching methods and examination methods should also be revised. and i think government must also try to provide employment along with education.

I quite agree with you to some extent. I feel that government schools just concentrate on degree and books whereas the international schools look for project-based learning, quality content, meaningful learning and assessment and reflection right at the primary school curriculum. Schools like Ascend International are coming up and have created programs that make all rounders and not just "bookworms".

Absolutely! The quality of human resource from India is low and it's a bitter truth. Not all of them but yes most of the working people from India do not possess adequate skills required to perform optimally in a work environment. India has a plus point in the fact that it helps everyone to study and there are provisions for a student to complete his or her graduation. But the quality of education is not worthy enough to provide them jobs! What can be done to improve the quality? Throw in your suggestions!
