Indian Women have changed over the time since Indian Independence, becoming more independent, self-motivated, courageous, and indomitable. Women in India have joined the working class, giving a good competition of one-on-one to the men. Not only be it in work, but even in education, the girls are faring good scores than what boys do. Women are also joining the Civil services, Politics, and Army making equal contribution of service to Indian nation as men do.

There have been a revolution in the thinking and the attitude of the indian woman since independence and all has happened for good reasons. she has now become more independent and self motivated. she has become smart and can take her own decision without anyone's help.

There has been many changes in the society since the time of Independence and Indian Women to have changed to a great deal. They are no more confined within the four wall of the house. The Indian society has become liberal than before. Indian women today, are more courageous and have even reached the moon. They have achieved a lot in their various fields and are now at par with man. They are now independent and make their own decision.

65 years have passed when India gained Independence and many things in the society has changed and developed since then. The status of women have changed to a great extent although not completely. Women are now considered at par with men and have also emerged as great leaders and politicians. Most women have become self-dependent and know about their rights. Indian women are now at par with the Women of other nations in every respect.
