Is it safe for women to work at a call centre?

some recent cases make me think whether we women have any level of safety working in such places. Do you think it is safe for women to work at call centres?

I think company's must provide extra care and protection to girls especially who are working in night shift.
 
call centers are not some haunted places.
then why question about only call centers, safety of women is needed the time she walks out of home. today a women is not secured even in her house or at a relatives place.(what we hear in news these days)
 
It is not!

It is not safe for women to work in a call centre at night shifts. Women has been harrased since ages by men. They are not safe anywhere. Extra security and privilages should be provided to women when they are working at night in call centres!
 
It is not safe for girls to work in a call centre atmosphere.. because the timings are very very flexible and it keeps on rotating after every week.. moreover I have heard from my friend who is working in a reputed call centre of Delhi that a girl was raped and murdered by her collegues.. She was asked to come down as her cab was waiting.. but ctually it wasnt her cab but some boys called her saying that her cab has come and when she came down she was kidnapped by the boys and gang raped her..this is seriosuly one big bullshit and crap happened that night.. its sad!

call centre jobs are not safe.. especially for women.. they have to become the victim of eve teaisng and if they are working in night shifts then its the worst part of their job..

Yes, obviously it is safe to work in a call center. No matter where ever women work, it is a total responsibility of the women to take care of her.

Safety is the first most preference whether the women is working in a call center or a government office or any other place. Though today working in call centers has become an easier job as well as is considered as a fashionable tag but it necessitates every women to make her own self strong and absolutely safe.

The atmosphere of the call centers are deteriorating day by day. The modern culture is influencing the girls as well as boys equally these days. Girls tend too fall in to the category of spoiled brats who usually booze and smoke frequently to cope with the night shifts. The atmosphere of call centers are not safe as there are many incidents happened like rape, eve teasing, kidnapping of girls at night.

Call centers jobs are considered as a need of todays people. But if you talk about women safety in cal centers then it is simply worst then ever. girls are not at all safe in the atmosphere that call center provides. Few days back i saw the news that some people kidnapped a girl by calling her on her phone saying that madam your cab has come and please come down to street, but it was not the cab but few people who were noticing this girl. they kidnapped her raped and murdered her.
 
So according to me the atmosphere of call centers are not safe for girls no matter how friendly is the atmosphere. People still tease girls of all age in the call centers and they are treated very badly.

Not only the atmosphere of call center is safe for girls in fact every office job is not safe for her. Women are being exploited since ages by men and they are being treated as salves. Rape and murder have now become the common phenomenon for the boys. Women should be strong enough to fight with these dangerous. Due to this they cannot sit back at home they have to go out and work but just with the thought of becoming a victim they cannot lose hope. In fact ready themselves to fight against such issues.
 
Today, the number of women working in call centers are increasing and in my view it is safe as the companies today offer complete security to the female workers. Moreover, the women who work late nights should also be careful and vigilant. It is always advisable to keep the number 100 in speed dial of the phone so that incase of any kind of emergency they can call the police for help. If the women themselves are careful and takes all the safety measures, it is not unsafe to work in call centers or any other place.
 
Call centers are like any other place of work. Many individuals are today employed in the call centers be it male or female. I don't think that it is unsafe to work in call centers. Moreover, females working in call centers at night are also safe as they provides complete security to the employees and almost every call center provides pick and drop facility and this makes it even safer.
